Purpose

The Technology & Enrollment Support Specialist is responsible for providing enrollment support to current and former OnRamps students as well as assisting university employees and faculty and OnRamps students and instructors with a wide variety of questions and problems about technology systems supported by the OnRamps program.

Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent enrollment support to current and former OnRamps students as well as assisting university employees and faculty and OnRamps students and instructors with a wide variety of questions and problems about technology systems supported by the OnRamps program.
  • Resolves student inquiries and year-to-year student requests, maintains accurate and complete records within the customer support platform and student information system.
  • Monitors reported problems to identify trends and recommend solutions. Contributes to internal and external resources to enhance OnRamps customer support knowledge base and customer experience. Contributes to the maintenance and improvement of OnRamps support processes.
  • Updates and maintains accurate student records within the OnRamps student information system. Complies with relevant program, state, and federal regulations related to protection of student records.
  • Contributes to special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma.
  • Two or more years of experience providing remote technical support through use of a ticketing system.
  • Ability to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of new systems in order to effectively train or troubleshoot issues with end users.
  • Ability to effectively provide end user support and answer questions through a variety of communication methods.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three or more years of experience utilizing ticketing systems to provide technical support.
  • Experience providing support in an educational setting.
  • Experience with student information systems.
  • Experience with Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) or other LMS
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving skills.
  • Experience writing technical documentation.
Salary Range

$60,000 + depending on qualifications

Employment Eligibility:

Retirement Plan Eligibility:
