Join us Today and enjoy these great perks! *Academic Tuition Reimbursement *Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits *Employee Assistance Program *401K Distribution Yard Jockey- Responsible for transporting and relocating gasoline or diesel-powered tractor trailer from base to established destination(s). Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities: * Transporting trailers at predetermined docks/ yard Fueling tractor and trailer(s) upon return to base and unhooking trailer(s) at specified location * Coordinating with 1st Processing management on equipment prioritization and utilization Inspecting Yard Dog and Trailer for defects before and after shift and submit report indicating their condition * Ensuring processes have been followed and verify adequate use of load locks, straps, and bulkheads * Monitoring fuel use and adjust reefer unit's fuel level and temperature, as needed Communicating with management on potential issues that arise Ensuring all functions are completed in accordance with Company standards and procedures, including quality standards and safety regulations * Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by 1st Processing Management Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Knowledge of Yard Dog driving requirements preferred Strong Interpersonal, communication and organizational skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Ability to work cross-functionally and within a team-based environment * Utilize safe driving skills and ability to drive large tractor trailers * Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required * Commercial Driver License or Driving Experience Required * Prior yard jockey experience preferred * Manufacturing and/or Poultry Industry experience a plus We embrace equal opportunity employment.
