| The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center and Certified Behavioral Health Clinic serving Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas. We provide high-quality care to all individuals, regardless of their financial circumstances. The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking an Outpatient Clinician I or II to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. This position is responsible for providing outpatient clinical services to clients served by The Guidance Center. Evenings are required (1+ days per week after 5 p); normal business hours (M-F 8 a to 5 p). Pay and Benefits: 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Primary Duties: 1. Provide intake assessments and initial treatment planning 2. Provide psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) and on-going treatment planning 3. LMLP and LCP staff will provide psychological testing, interpretation, and report-writing as needed and within the scope of licensure and training. 4. Provide minimum of four appointment hours per week after 5 pm 5. Work additional hours when needed to complete required work. 6. Provide daytime crisis services when needed 7. Ensure that all clinical services provided follow clinical guidelines of The Guidance Center and regulatory bodies 8. Understand direct service requirements and efficiency goals established by TGC for the position, and achieve same 9. Provide documentation (clinical notes, reports, and other professional products) which complies with TGC's Quality Improvement standards and the requirements of all funding sources. 10. Be able to organize work to meet direct service expectations and Center requirements EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: Required: Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling, and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment. Required: willingness to obtain licensed addictions counselor or licensed master addiction counselor.
