Sentry has an opening on our team as a Telematics Product Manager. In this role you will lead the development, scaling, and lifecycle management of Telematics-enabled insurance products and programs. You will take ownership of the overall strategic vision, roadmap, and feature definition of key components of the product.

This position will be located at our Office in Stevens Point, WI in a hybrid work model and is not a fully remote opportunity.

For this position, Sentry does not offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas.

What You'll Do

As a Telematics Product Manager, you will:

  • Define, communicate and evangelize the product vision and intent behind solutions.

  • Contribute to cross-functional product delivery, and the integration of data assets, claims capabilities, and program offerings such as usage-based and behavior-based insurance.

  • Collaborate with other business functions, agency partners, and sales producers on telematics-based business strategies and onboarding customers to telematics programs.

  • Create documentation, training, and handoff processes to ensure smooth integration into business operations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document product requirements; help define repeatable intake and validation processes.

  • Partner with claims and data teams to embed telematics capabilities into products and enhance risk assessment models.

Additionally, you will:

  • Conduct market analysis to develop product definitions and maintain knowledge of current market trends, competitor's products, product success and shortcomings in order to reach market objectives.

  • Maintain technical knowledge of telematics solutions to identify, evaluate, and develop procedures for problem solving.

  • Act as a technical resource to ensure that proper technical, procedural, and new product development issues are included in training and marketing.

What it Takes

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrate technical insurance background in the particular field of specialization

  • Knowledge of Sentry's systems, procedures, and distribution systems preferred

  • Effective organizational skills, human relations, analytical, and communication skills

  • Previous product management and data analytics experience beneficial

  • Ability to travel as necessary to satisfactorily compete your job responsibilities as assigned
