About the Team
The Digital Product Management team is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and delivering the online customer experience and marketing data innovations that drive Williams-Sonoma Inc.'s industry leading omni-channel business.

About the Role
As Lead Product Manager, you will influence the strategy and drive delivery for our online digital experiences and Supply Chain operations across WSI brands. This generalist product management role will flex across eCommerce domains such as product pages, checkout and gift registry and other Supply Chain capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to help build new, engaging and high-converting customer-facing digital experiences. You will work with amazing peers and deep resources to help push the boundaries of digital innovation.

This role will work cross-functionally with eCommerce, Supply Chain and Store business and technology partners across the enterprise. You will ensure customer experience and operational processes meet outcome expectations across all WSI brands.

The ideal candidate is passionate about building great customer experiences, has an analytical mindset and has extensive experience with software development processes. The candidate will have technical aptitude, ability to flex between cross-functional domains, a strong sense of ownership, and excellent communication style across different audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership on digital experiences.

  • Collaborate closely with Brand and Technology partners to develop the product vision and roadmap for our digital experiences across WSI brands.

  • Lead the definition, prioritization and scoping of enterprise level, cross-functional initiatives using all available data and resources to guide decision-making.

  • Drive execution and iterative delivery of initiatives in collaboration with Program Management, Engineering, User Experience, Architecture and other Technology partners and subsidiaries. Craft business requirements and user stories.

  • Communicate a clear view of priorities and progress against product roadmap with business partners and senior leadership.

  • Measure product performance using qualitative and quantitative strategies to drive ongoing optimization.

  • Serve as a liaison between Business and Technology teams to ensure digital solutions meet expectations and provide customer value.

  • Drive brand adoption and high performing operational execution. Support cross-functional teams by answering questions, making recommendations, providing training and guiding user acceptance testing.

  • Research market and industry trends and perform competitor product analysis.

  • Assist in constantly improving the Digital Product Management team.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Criteria

  • 8+ years product management experience leading ideation and delivery of business value through technology solutions.

  • Generalist product manager, passionate about building great customer experiences, who can flex across domains and effectively drive cross-functional programs at enterprise level.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas with partners across the organization.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence others.

  • Strong analytical abilities, uses data to back up recommendations, prioritization and drive actions.

  • Strong drive towards execution and delivering value.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate product vision into tactical execution and deliver results.

  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work with ambiguity and to pivot to align with evolving business objectives.

  • Knowledge of eCommerce and Retail industry is preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.

  • This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco, California office Monday through Thursday.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
