Job Description Summary

The primary responsibility of the Director, Enterprise Financial Performance Apps will be oversight of financial software and systems and financial data integrity across the company.

• Provides day-to-day administration, management, and support of financial systems and software.

• Supports all aspects of system integration, data-feeds, synchronization of data, and data integrity

• Evaluates existing financial systems to improve efficiencies and automation of tasks. Working with vendors to evaluate, contract, and implement new technologies

• Works with others within and outside of the department to provide training and support to staff at all levels on financial systems; communicates with internal clients clearly and concisely

• Serves as a liaison between the Finance, IT, Fleet and Human Resources departments on issues related to data integrity and reporting

• Supports senior staff in validation and accuracy of key metrics

• Management of Financial master data strategy, tools, implementation, process, and ongoing controls

• Hires, trains, coaches and mentors a team of Financial Systems Analysts

• Works with closely with finance and external partners to evaluate new technologies and develop an ongoing capabilities roadmap for the Finance organization

• Works on special projects as assigned by senior management

• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent years of experience in a related field, masters degree a plus

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in systems supporting finance and accounting

• Includes at least 5 years of experience specifically supporting the Oracle EPM toolsets (PBCS, FCCS, ARCS, EPCM, Narrative, etc.)

• Includes at least 5 years of experience specifically in ecosystem Oracle toolsets (ERP, ODI, EDM/DRM, Oracle DB, Groovy Scripts, Smartview, etc.)

• Includes at least 5 years of team leadership experience

• Experience with a variety of ERP systems, experience with Wynne Rentalman (or other AS 400 based ERP systems) and Oracle Cloud ERP is a plus

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments

• Advanced MS Office, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills

• Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the organization

• A breadth of hands-on technical skillsets (SQL, Java, Python, UNIX/Windows Scripting, etc.)

• Dependable and motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

• * Experience in a variety of Industries to bring a broader perspective, rental industry or related field a plus

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.
