Pharmacy Technician - Compounding Hampton, VA Pay From: $21 per hour MUST: The Pharmacy Technician must have experience: Bachelor's degree preferred Medical office experience required CPR / First Aid Certification preferred Strong computer skills-including, Electronic Medical Records experience Strong attention to detail Compounding experience highly preferred Knowledge of aseptic technique and HIPAA compliance Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation protocols preferred Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently Experience administering injections DUTIES: Pharmacy opening and closing Allergy treatments & vial mixing Calling in prescriptions Mixing serums and compounding medications in a sterile environment Scanning patient records and other information as necessary Taking inventory in the pharmacy Ordering supplies and medications needed for the pharmacy Providing excellent customer service to patients Other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
