Transportation & Logistics Sales & Growth Leader - U.S. Transportation & Logistics

Joining our outstanding team, you will contribute to achieving results for our clients through effective solutions within our U.S. Transportation & Logistics Industry Segment, encompassing the Marine, Aviation, Trucking, Rail, and Space practice groups at Aon Commercial Risk Solutions. As the Head of Sales and Growth for Transportation & Logistics, your role will involve growing revenue for the Transportation & Logistics sector within Aon. You will collaborate with the Aon Transportation & Logistics practice groups' Leaders in Broking & Strategy, Operations Executives, Business Development Heads, product leadership, and sales teams to align strategies, boost revenue, and develop plans for successful enterprise delivery.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Chicago, IL office.

What the day will look like
  • Drive T&L growth & commercial proposition.
  • Set up and maintain structured growth approaches across T&L sectors.
  • Be involved, where needed, in driving key prospects and tenders.
  • Be involved, where needed, with key clients.
  • Enable collaboration across sales, marketing, account management, product development and finance with a focus on client experience and delivering the entire enterprise.
  • Lead the Chief Commercial Officers of all T&L sectors. Establish and support sales and commercial attitudes within T&L sectors.
  • Collaborate with the Aon US Growth division to implement effective strategies. Engage in the Expansion of the United States
  • Position the T&L sector within the US growth and AE network.
  • Actively engage with and maintain relations with the US Sales and AE leadership (Aon & NFP).
  • Cooperate with the Specialty CCO and leadership community.
  • Participate in US T&L Exec and Global T&L community.
  • Drive integration strategies, initiatives and solutions across T&L practice groups.

  • Experience in resource deployment and utilization management.
  • Proficient in social skills, capable of effectively communicating with individuals at diverse levels.
  • Excel in a fast-paced setting, balancing multiple tasks, perspectives, authorities, and diverse executives' backing.
  • 15+ years of sales experience.
  • Must maintain appropriate broker's license.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $200,000 - $300,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
