Family Resiliency Navigator- Early Education

We are seeking a Family Resiliency Navigator- Early Education to join our team.

Starting Salary: $48,000 - $54,000 (Annually)

Bonus: $4,600 ($2,000 Sign-on Bonus will be paid on your first paycheck and the $2,600 Retention Bonus will be paid after 12 months of service.)

We are seeking a Family Resiliency Navigator- Early Education to join our team. Join a groundbreaking early childhood mental health collective moving forward mental, emotional and behavioral care for ages birth through preschool children, plus their families and team members. The Family Resiliency Navigator (FRN) reports to the Clinical Manager-Early Childhood. Work as part of an interdisciplinary and inter agency team to initiate universal behavioral health screenings to improve our ability to identify infants, toddlers and preschoolers with unmet behavioral health concerns and increase services that promote long-term well-being.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provide direct mental health and case management to students and families experiencing social and emotional problems as indicated by assessed needs.
• Coordinate preventative screenings utilizing program chosen assessment tools, leading to a needs assessment.
• Support children in the classroom with social emotional strategies, regulation, safety, connection and executive functioning skills.
• Provide groups within the classroom based around Conscious Discipline principals.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Our ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant experience working in the mental health field with this population and the following:

• A bachelor's degree in human behavioral science which includes 30 semester or 45 quarter hours either in development of human behavior, child development, family intervention techniques, diagnostic measures, or therapeutic techniques, such as social work, psychology, sociology, guidance and counseling, and child development.
• Familiar with implications of trauma, attachment and diversity.
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish, preferred.
• At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening
• A valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
