Responsibilities

We are seeking a Director of Clinical Programming to join our dedicated team at Columbus Behavioral Center in Columbus, Indiana. This pivotal role will lead our clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health care that aligns with our mission of supporting young individuals and their families. The Director of Clinical Programming is responsible for planning, oversight, and directing the clinical operation of the milieu department including budgeting, fiscal management, program operations, compliance, and strategic planning. This role is also responsible for managing and directing the activities of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and facility policy, goals, and objectives. This position contributes to the facility's philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance to the Mental Health Technicians & Milieu Managers. The individual in this role is part of a team tasked to lead and take ownership for every aspect of service delivery and fiscal operation of the department. This position is an essential part of the guiding force of Columbus Behavioral Center.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Lead and mentor clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate with families and community partners to facilitate care transitions.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Conduct regular staff training sessions on best practices in mental health care.
  • Manage clinical budgets and resources effectively.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote awareness of our services.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field (required).
  • Licensure as a, PhD, PsyD, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT or LPC (required).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a clinical leadership role (required).
  • Strong management and leadership skills (highly preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration (highly preferred).
  • Familiarity with risk management practices in mental health (preferred).
