    Who You Are...

    As Corporate Benefits Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Health & Wellness Department with a wide variety of clerical, administrative, and project-based tasks.

    This Position...

    Some examples of the work you might do includes:



    • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of benefit files and records.
    • Assumes an active role in major departmental projects and company initiatives related to benefits.
    • Updates various databases with confidential information to facilitate accurate records and reporting.
    • Audits internal benefit documentations and files for compliance with Company policy and applicable law, such as HIPAA and ERISA.
    • Actively participates in the development, implementation, and enhancement of benefit-related policies and procedures.
    • Processes benefit payroll changes and audits to ensure reporting accuracy.
    • Interacts with employees to assist and explain benefits and enrollment systems.
    • Processes employee change requests and additional related paperwork.
    • Processes and maintains COBRA election notices, payments, terminations for tracking information internally.
    • Assists the department with the escalation and resolution of employee inquiries.
    • Assists with the auditing and transmitting of weekly 401(k) payroll files, and reconciling totals to general ledgers.
    • Attends and participates in departmental meetings and other Company events.
    • Monitors ACA compliance by reviewing eligibility data, conducting audits, and managing monthly tracking processes.
    • Prepares and submits Forms 1094-C and 1095-C, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate and timely filing.


    What You Need...



    • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration.
    • Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office/Google Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences.
    • Knowledge of benefit plan design and compliance.
    • Capable of prioritizing workload and handling numerous assignments simultaneously.
    • Must be organized, attentive to detail, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion.
    • Must have a valid driver's license.
    • Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.


    Preferred Qualifications:



    • Working knowledge of Benefit related practices, concepts, and laws; i.e. COBRA, FMLA, ADA and HIPAA.
    • Comprehensive familiarity with standard payroll software and processes.
    • Bilingual communication abilities (English/Spanish) a plus.

    Work Environment:



    • This position operates primarily in an office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers.


    Physical Demands:



    • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
    • This is considered a sedentary position, which means possible exertion up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
