As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Retail/Malls in Sherman Oaks, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail and mall location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter potential security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This role involves maintaining a strong visible presence, delivering outstanding customer service, and upholding our company values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail and mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage or unauthorized persons within the mall or retail premises.
• Assist visitors, patrons, and tenants by providing directions, answering questions and offering general assistance as appropriate.
• Support the enforcement of site policies and procedures to help to maintain an orderly environment.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel if incidents arise at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
