Armed Security Guard - Overnight Driving Patrol

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver Government in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a government facility. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through strong communication. This position requires you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by assisting with inquiries and delivering a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Assist in emergency response activities as required, maintaining composure during high-pressure situations.
• Document incidents, observations, and any actions taken during patrols and/or emergency situations.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
