As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations using a calm, problem-solving approach, supporting a secure environment for all visitors and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter, to observe for unusual activity and help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Document and communicate all security-related activities and findings according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Work cooperatively with local law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary, following established procedures.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed for individuals entering the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
