Security Officer - Armed Patrol for Plaza

As a Security Officer - Armed CRE Patrol in Lynwood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will regularly monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, engaging with tenants and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together in a caring and integrity-driven environment to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone at the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a commercial real estate environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control processes, including verifying identification and managing visitor entry as required.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
