As a Security Officer - Armed Aero/Defense Patrol Clearance in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner while adhering to company protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within an aerospace and defense location to help to deter unauthorized individuals from gaining access.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Document all incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Participate in site-specific training, including firearms proficiency and emergency response procedures as required for an armed post.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
