Hr Coordinator
GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for a wide range of high-level Human Resources administrative tasks as well as coordinating various Human Resources programs and processes for all company associates. Responsible for various HR related functions that include payroll, compensation, staffing, benefits, associate relations, employment law, company policy and procedures, records retention and compliance, affirmative action as well as HRIS reporting. Deliver value-added services to support the needs of associates and the objectives of the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Maintains complete confidentiality in regards to all employee and company documents. 2.Maintains electronic and static bulletin boards as well as email to communicate information to associates. 3.Performs necessary administrative duties for department. 4.Responsible for managing all non-exempt employee personnel folders. 5.Coordinates hourly job posting processes and keeps staffing and job posting logs to track staffing changes. 6.Assist in processing new hire, change of status, temporary unemployment benefits, and separation. 7.Publishes birthday and services anniversary lists. 8.Maintains contingent workforce database. 9.Administers background screening for all new hires and schedules drug screens as needed. 10.Issues initial and replace associate identification badges, when applicable and maintains badge system records. 11.Maintains records and files for Americans with Disability ACT (ADA). 12.Manages absenteeism and tardiness database for contingent workforce. 13.Assist associates with leave of absence claims. 14.May assist HR Manager with record-keeping activities, research and/or special projects. 15.Coordinate new hire orientation and paperwork process. 16.Enter and verify employment eligibility via electronic I-9 process. 17. Assists associates with benefit related questions. 18. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings as required. 19. Maintains various associate directories and rosters, as well as contingent workforce evaluations. 20. All other duties as assigned. | |
