Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Operate and maintain MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment, including setup and operation of equipment, and minor troubleshooting.
• Perform SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) production tasks, including component placement, soldering, and inspection.
• Ensure high-quality production by following established procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Under limited supervision, responsible for moderately complex Surface Mount manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment and hand assembly.
• Performs semi-routine SMT (Surface-Mount Technology), Inspection, and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment, and utilizes other Surface-Mount Technology equipment such as X-RAY (X-radiation) and stencil Printing.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

Hours: 4/10-2^nd Shift.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) Operator, with a focus on MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machine operator.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Basic machine shop equipment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Blueprint Reading.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Tools/Technology.

• Associate Degree.
• Strong understanding of SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) production processes, including component placement, soldering, and inspection.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
• Able to read and write English.
• Basic Computer Skills.
