- The Rework Assembler performs through-hole and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) inspection and rework on electronic assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and in-house quality standards.
- Assemble electronic components and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) using hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Perform through-hole soldering and basic wiring tasks.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, schematics, and work orders.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Assist in production, as needed, with electronic assembly to meet the production schedule.
- Responsible for following company policies and procedures as outlined in the team member handbook and ISO documentation.

- Hours: 4/10-2nd Shift

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in using a Microscope to assemble components.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with visual acuity in working with microscopes
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Blueprint Reading
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Soldering
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Excellent inspection skills with a knack for finding problems.
- Competent at removing and installing discreet Surface Mount Technology (SMT) parts down to 0201 size, delicate pitch parts (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier, Small Outline Integrated Circuit), leadless parts (Ball Grid Array, Dual Flat No-lead, Quad Flat No-lead)
- Familiar with working with a stereo microscope/vision system.
- Familiar with using standard hand tools for electronic assembly, as well as various types of rework equipment: soldering/vacuum desoldering station, hot air tools, and Ball Grid Array (BGA) rework machine.
- Able to work from Assembly Drawings and Engineering Change Orders.
- Familiar with using a PC to access documentation and document work performed.
- Must be detail-oriented and be able to work with limited supervision.
- Be able to read/write English
