As a 5G Solutions Architect, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating closely with customers to understand their unique needs and strategic goals. You'll gather and interpret critical stakeholder inputs, transforming them into clear, actionable requirements and innovative solutions. Leveraging Nokia's comprehensive Core & Autonomous Networks portfolio-alongside third-party products when needed-you'll design and specify robust, end-to-end architectures tailored to each customer. Your work will uphold the highest standards of solution architecture, ensuring technical integrity, scalability, and long-term value.

Designs customer-specific architectures within a defined area of expertise, aligning solutions with business needs and technical requirements.

  • Identifies relevant Business Groups (BGs) and orchestrates cross-BG collaboration during the initial phases of solution development.
  • Develops comprehensive end-to-end solutions, encompassing both high-level and low-level architectural design, tailored to customer needs and market positioning.
  • Leads the development of full-scope solutions by coordinating across organizational boundaries to deliver cohesive, viable outcomes.
  • Lead the technological evolution in customer's ecosystem based on proposed solution.
  • Ensures continuous alignment of solutions with evolving client requirements through rigorous validation and lifecycle governance.
  • Drives the evolution of concepts and methodologies that influence the strategic trajectory of the team or business unit.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and thought leader, mentoring teams and acting as a key resource for best practices within the organization.
  • Adopt & propagate usage of AI and Automation in service delivery of large-scale solutions.
  • Frequently leads functional teams or projects of moderate complexity, overseeing resource planning, task allocation, and day-to-day team management.

You Have:

  • Experience and expertise with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, CNI, CSI, Service Mesh, Docker, and OpenStack.
  • Comprehensive understanding of 5G and IMS Architecture from an end-to-end perspective.
  • Knowledge of HTTP2 and the role of various 5G interfaces.
  • Expertise in 5G Core components, including UDM/AUSF and SDL.
  • Experience with implementation of Analytics & Assurance solutions in context of large telecom networks
  • Good understanding of Data management principles across Data acquisition , governance , quality , Security and protection
  • Good understanding of 5G RAN and its interaction with various 5G Core Network functions.
  • Proactively identified potential technical risks/issues.
  • Served as a trusted advisor to product teams, program teams, and customers to implement best practices.
  • Good presentation skills and effective communicator.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience in Tier-1 and complex multivendor telecom core networks in IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Subscriber Data Management (SDM), IP Networking, and Cloud platforms.
  • Experience in Red Hat OpenShift
  • Understanding of Service Management & Orchestration , 5G Slicing ,etc
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
