Here's what you'd do:

• Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations, which include skilled handwork or utilizing automated production equipment.
• Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents.
• Determines and follows methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Makes setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Developing support for individual contributors.
• Works under general supervision.
• Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
• Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
• Less detailed instructions are provided, and moderate peer review is needed.
• Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information, which need explanation or interpretation to understand and reach a consensus.
• Follows established processes to complete tasks.
• Escalates issues to the supervisor for resolution.
• Works to achieve operational targets within the job area, which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
• Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities.
• The company provides specialty tools.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 / hour.

Hours: 5/8 hrs/Week.

Length: Contract (6 months).

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with electro-mechanical assembly
• Minimum 4 years of experience with interpreting technical specifications, drawings, or blueprints.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with performing wiring, soldering, or hands-on component installation.

• Associate Degree.
• Able to use hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, and sockets (should have own general tools).
• Able to work in a team-based environment and interact with support team members.
• Calm demeanor.
