As a Security Officer - Armed Aero/Defense Patrol in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This position is both armed and requires driving, allowing you to respond swiftly across the site while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Operate as an armed security professional, maintaining awareness of surroundings in a high-security aerospace and defense environment.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and visitors entering the premises, following established protocols.
• Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal leadership to address security-related needs and support operational objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
