Job Description




As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with staff and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor and report on any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as required in response to incidents.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly after incidents or patrols.
  • Remain alert to security-related risks and respond appropriately to changing conditions or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
