Duration: School year (Aug, 2024 - June, 2025)

Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M

Clearance Required: BG/DT/FP (Note: Fingerprinting cost is $ 83.25; FP will be initiated by candidate initially however it will be reimbursed with their 1st pay check).

Certification Required:

• Current CPR Certification (lnfant/Child/Adult/AED) (Must).
• Basic First Aid Certification (Must).
• Complete Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification/Training.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist with and/or perform medication administration.
• Administer minor first aid.
• Perform/assist with Diabetes management.
• Complete head lice interventions (including detection, parent education, and screening for re-admission to school).
• Perform CPR/AED as needed.
• Communicate with registered nurse, school personnel or parent/Client as needed for care of student.
• Utilize community contacts for additional resources as needed.
• Perform specialized medical procedures for students after receiving child specific training as delegated by registered nurse supervisor
• Maintain a neat, clean, and proficient clinic.
• Comply with confidentiality requirements of the School Board of Santa Rosa County.
• May bill for Medicaid eligible students as per the School District's request and per Medicaid guidelines.
• Document and generate reports of services provided in clinic according to established guidelines.
• Ensure that all clinic generated documentation and reports are completed, filed, stored, and submitted within a timely manner according to established guidelines.
