Fabrication Supervisor 2nd Shift

The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the 2^nd shift poly welding team. This role's primary responsibility is to ensure safe and efficient operation of the welding team within a cleanroom environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm

Pay: $30-35/hour

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Provide leadership to 2^nd shift poly-welding employees and contractors for cleanroom fabrication activities.
• Ensure fabrication activities meet schedule requirements.
• Ensure the work environment and equipment meet the needs of the employees.
• Works both within and across departments to resolve fabrication related issues in an effective manner.
• Provides quality leadership to 2^nd shift with a goal of zero nonconformances
• Provides safety leadership to 2^nd shift team with a goal of zero recordable injuries.
• Initiates and follows through on process and efficiency improvements.
• Other duties as assigned by Production Manager.

• 2-year degree in a production or supervisor role or a combination of related education and experience.
• 1 year working in a production related supervisor role
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of best practices for production environments.
• Working knowledge of safety requirements for a production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
