Summary:
MaineHealth's Endocrinology and Diabetes outpatient care is seeking a Registered Dietitian for our Full-Time, Day shift, Monday - Friday position. Our Ideal Registered Dietitian will hold a BSN as well as two or more years' experience. This position will work closely with the physicians, responsible for performing nutritional assessments as well as assessing diabetes educational needs and implement and evaluate nutritional plans for patients with diabetes and their family members. This position does not require on call, weekends, or major holidays.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Dietitian required. Current applicable state(s) license as a Diabetes Educator required or in process of achieving certification. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Valid driver's license may be required.
  3. Experience: Two years of experience as a practicing dietitian required. One year of experience in individual nutritional counseling preferred.
