Job Description




As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrols in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a leading chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel on site. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for mobile patrols as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions, with consideration for the unique requirements of a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor for potential hazards or security-related concerns specific to chemical and petrochemical operations, reporting any irregularities as directed.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, contractors, and employees while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols related to chemical and petrochemical environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
