As a Security Officer - Telecom Campus Patrol in Rock Tavern, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct regular patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting access control processes. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or activity according to established guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure environment.
• Document observations and incidents in a timely and accurate manner, following Allied Universal procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required, providing information and assistance as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
