As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for customers and staff. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to remain visible, respond promptly to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and communication skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report on conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and customers.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms and/or other equipment in accordance with training and licensing requirements.
• Work collaboratively with retail staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
