As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Full-Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology and media location. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Document and report any irregularities, property damage, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as part of a customer-focused approach.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns specific to a technology and media environment.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and promptly communicate any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
