As an Allied Universal Security professional, you will play a vital role in providing access control at a residential location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also serve as a visible presence, offering exceptional customer service and communication to residents and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the residential property, verifying credentials of all persons entering and exiting the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures.
• Communicate promptly with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Assist residents and guests with directions or general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
