POSITION SUMMARY:

LG Electronics' Information Display Division has an immediate opening for a Senior Technical Product Manager - Networks and Security on the Software Solutions team. In this full-time role, you will be serving as our subject matter expert for enterprise-level networking and information security as it relates to the deployment and integration of LG's digital signage hardware and Cloud and on-premise remote monitoring/control (RMS) and content management (CMS) software solutions in Enterprise, Operational Technology, Retail, Healthcare, Transportation, and Government IT environments.

The Sr. Technical Product Manager, Network & Security will be representing LG in interfacing with our customers' IT, information security, IT, and network administration teams at the world's largest corporations, and leading system integrators who manage large scale network of LG commercial displays used in everything from airport flight information/gate displays to indoor and drive-through digital menu boards at all major quick-service restaurants, to digital out of home (DOOH) advertising and retail media network in-store screens. (This is NOT an internal IT position administering internal systems.)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Lead the networking and security integration of LG software solutions with customer's IT infrastructure.
  • Recommend best cyber/information security policies to customers using LG digital signage and associated software.
  • Author system and software requirements specifications with respect to advanced security, for the product planning and R&D teams.
  • Assist customers in debugging, resolving field issues, and coming up with solutions for security and networking issues when integrating LG solutions.
  • Strengthen LG software business competitiveness through the discovery of new solutions and driving proof-of-concept to for LG's next generation software solution
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product planning, and R&D, to develop next generation of secure solutions that keep up with industry networking and security protocols.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their businesses, industries, and unique challenges, and proactively identifying and addressing their needs.
  • Generate proposals, presentations, and other materials to effectively communicate LG's networking and security advantage/value propositions to potential customers.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure successful hand-off and implementation of new business opportunities, and to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Perform SWOT analysis of LG commercial displays and cloud SaaS in networking and security features/capabilities. Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support the Software Solutions BDM team for onboarding new customers, product demos, trainings and webinars, and trade shows.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise network design and architecture or overseeing enterprise network and security required.
  • Direct experience in the following areas: IAM, PKI, SSO, EDR/XDR, Authentication, Encryption, Certificate management, mobile device management (MDM) and provisioning.


  • In-dept understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, WiFi, Firewall, RESTful API
  • Ability to debug networking and communication issues
  • Industrial OT and IoT cyber-security experience is a plus.
  • SaaS and PaaS deployment and Data Orchestration experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to 1 week in duration and 10% of the time.


  • Please Note: This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lincolnshire, IL, approx. 35min north of Chicago O'Hare airport. Employee is required to be in the office 5 days per week. This is not a remote/hybrid position.



Recruiting Range
$100,000 - $133,000 USD
