Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Technology Specialist to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in Workday and a passion for HR systems and data. The specialist will support day-to-day operations of HR technology, assist with system maintenance, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the employee experience

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide 1st Tier support for our HR Technology team and 2nd Tier support to our HR Service Center customers, escalating issues as needed.

  • Triage incoming Workday and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) support requests.

  • Complete data entry validation and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Assist the administration and maintenance of Workday and ServiceNow HRSD platforms by:
    1. Assisting with knowledge content management
    2. Employee and Non-Employee Administration
    3. Tracking the testing and documentation of system updates
    and enhancements.
    4. Aiding testing of issues and system changes
    5. Collaborating with HR team members to complete workflow
    analytics and streamline process.

  • Collaborate with centers of excellence (COEs) and HR Communications in creating HR process documentation.

  • Maintain Confidentiality and ensure data security in all system interaction

What's Available:

  • Full time, 1.0 FTE

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday days typically between 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Location: Remote Eligible position for residents of WI, MN, and IA. From time to time may to travel onsite for business related needs.

  • Immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not available for this position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

  • 0-2 years of experience in HR or HR technology; internship or academic exposure to Workday is highly valued.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel and interest in data analysis.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation.

  • Exposure to HR case management systems or help desk support tools.

  • Familiarity with HR processes such as onboarding, employee data management, and reporting.

  • Acquainted with HTML, CSS, image manipulation and website content creation skills.
