As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Entry in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your role involves monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
• Perform identification verification and visitor management in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by responding to inquiries and assisting with security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify irregularities.
• Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location personnel to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
