Critical Customer Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

ServiceMax Customer Support Organization is a dedicated team committed to ensuring customer success by keeping service industries operational in a timely and professional manner. This role represents the highest level of technical expertise and leadership within the team.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple product areas, including ServiceMax Asset 360.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary technical resource for team members.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to other support engineers.
  • Lead resolution of complex, technically challenging issues and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Step into technical lead roles as needed to drive problem-solving and best practices.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years in Information Technology, including 6+ years with Salesforce (SFDC).
  • SFDC ADM 211 Certification required.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce implementation and development (APEX, Visualforce).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration technologies, SSO, master data management, and mobile applications.
  • Proven ability to lead customer success initiatives, including solution architecture, release management, and change management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to work independently and in globally distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based product testing and org checks.
  • Familiarity with FSM tools and ServiceMax products, especially mobile apps.
  • ServiceMax SVMX 201 Certification.

PTC carefully considers a wide varietyof factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $95,000 - 105,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
