Architectural Metals (Metals) is a segment within Apogee that is a provider of aluminum windows, curtainwall (soon to be retired), storefront and entrance systems. We offer an integrated set of capabilities including design, engineering, extrusion, finishing, fabrication, and assembly.

Our market-leading brands offer solutions for a wide range of construction project types and sizes across the U.S. and Canada. Position Summary

A production planner at Architectural Metals would beresponsible for creating and managing production schedules to ensure the efficient manufacturing of Wausau Finishing. Key duties include coordinating production, collaborating with different departments, and managing material availability. This role requires a deep understanding of the company's manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling:Create and maintain paint main line production schedule.

Coordination:Coordinate production across various teams to meet deadlines and goals.

Collaboration:Work with different teams to ensure efficient production flow.

Experience & Skills

Education:

High school diploma

Experience

  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Microsoft office
  • Excel
  • Wausau Finishing Epicor is preferred

Other Requirements

  • Standard working hours are 7:30AM to 4:30PM with expectation to work more to complete daily tasks.

Work Environment

  • Mostly an office environment with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor (proper PPE must be worn on manufacturing floor).

Travel Requirements

  • Travel would rarely be required. Once per year if any for training and development.
