JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the planning, design, implementation, and administration of cash compensation and reward programs to ensure that base pay, incentive pay and performance management remain competitive and align with current compensation strategy.
2. Recommend enhancements or changes to compensation programs to improve administrative procedures, workflow efficiencies, and/or align programs to achieve company goals.
3. Oversee the analysis and resolution of compensation related issues raised by Talent and department leaders within the organization.
4. Manages the full range of compensation functions, including survey participating, salary structure development, incentive plan design, bonus and commission programs, and other associated initiatives.
5. Oversee the analysis of current or new plan designs and administrative practices for competitiveness and cost effectiveness.
6. Function as project manager for annual performance review, merit, and incentive programs and processes including but not limited to setting up and deploying software, developing timelines and communication plans in partnership with the department leaders.
7. Develop and maintain program procedures and guidelines for compensation related programs.
8. Partner with Talent and department leaders in:
the development of Talent/Rewards metrics and develops processes to collect data necessary for the metrics and oversee the analysis and interpretation of the metrics, the administration and coordination of other programs such as but not limited to executive compensation elements, and
o preparation of confidential information to support efforts such as corporate reorganization, mergers and acquisitions as well as due diligence requests.
9. Work with Payroll, Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure the system meets compensation needs and is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, incentive programs etc. Ensure reports are available, developed, and/or maintained to administer base and/or incentive pay programs.
10. Oversee the review and evaluation of job descriptions as well as the maintenance of the job description, job code, job title, and job evaluation data bases. Consult with management on job families, career paths, job design and job description language, and educate/provide on-going training to colleagues on base salary and incentive programs.
11. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
12. Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees.
13. Conduct surveys to assess employee satisfaction with pay.
14. Identify process initiatives to reduce turnaround time.
15. Align compensation programs with recruitment strategies to attract and retain quality candidates.
16. Ensure that the company is in compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws (i.e. minimum wage regulations).
17. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
18. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
19. Demonstrate commitment to the company's core competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE: This individual works in a self-guided independent manner to complete the job responsibilities as assigned. Work is often varied and may be complex in nature. The incumbent follows established procedures and uses knowledge of the company's general business principles, industry dynamics, and specific operation details when performing all aspects of the position. The most complex of issues will be referred to higher levels. The incumbent provides oversight of Multiplan's compensation philosophies, strategies and programs as well as provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to direct and indirect staff. This position has the authority to recommend and implement appropriate policies, procedures and controls to assure compliance with applicable contractual provisions, regulations, and legislation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
* Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Human Resource Management, and/or Business Administration.
* Advanced Degree and/or Certified Compensation Professional designation strongly preferred.
* Minimum 8 years experience specialized rewards experience, with an emphasis on the design, development and administration of cash compensation and pay for performance programs, including at least 4 years leading and supervising a rewards team.
* Knowledge of legal compliance requirements as they pertain to compensation and HR programs.
* Knowledge of executive, base and variable compensation systems, job evaluation techniques, market surveys and compensation administration
* Ability to use software and peripherals related to performance of job responsibilities.
* Communication, process management, analytical, decision making, organizational, project management, negotiating, time management, and supervisory skills.
* Ability to implement changes effectively throughout organization.
* Knowledge of building compensation packages and bonus programs for various departments and employee levels.
* Excellent understanding of job evaluation and job analysis systems.
* Other required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable.
* Meeting management, analytical, communication (written, verbal and listening), presentation, people management, and problem solving skills.
* Ability to analyze issues and use sound judgment.
