Overview

First Citizens Commercial Bank will be embarking on an Agile Delivery Transformation in 2026 to accelerate value delivery and enhance adaptability in a rapidly changing environment. We will be partnering with leaders within the Commercial Bank and across multiple enterprise organizations evolve our agile delivery methodology. A dedicated Commercial Bank Agile Transformation Lead will influence and ensure alignment to enterprise standards while also enabling adoption of consistent agile methodologies across the Commercial Bank. This includes setting the strategy, managing the roadmap and execution plan, setting standards and best practices, and providing communications, guidance, training, and coaching to teams.

This position provides direction and oversight of strategic and transformational improvements of the Bank's business plans. Provides recommendations regarding best practices and methodologies. This position is responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders to solicit feedback, negotiate appropriate change management strategies, and implements large-scale strategic initiatives that generate business growth and lead to successful integration and adoption. Leads special projects, mentors associate team, oversees resource and financial management, and handles the most complex issues in support of daily workflow. Serves as a subject matter expert.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with Technology and the Enterprise Change Office to influence Enterprise Agile Standards to ensure alignment with Commercial Bank needs and requirements
  • Create and own the Commercial Bank Agile Transformation Strategy and Enablement plan
  • Define, manage, and execute on a prioritized Agile Transformation Roadmap for the Commercial Bank
  • Provide organization-wide communications regarding the vision, benefits, strategy, and enablement plan
  • Establish best practices and standards for Commercial Bank Agile delivery and monitor adherence to standards
  • Manage and/or partner with a team of resources to provide training and coaching to Commercial Bank partners and delivery teams
  • Leverage feedback and metrics to drive continuous improvement in Commercial Bank delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Agile Coaching, Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry OR High School Diploma

GED and 14 years of experience in Agile Strategy, Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry
