The Position
2026 Summer - Genentech Community College Internship Program - Informatics To Apply:
Department Summary We are now accepting applications for the Summer 2026 Genentech Community College Internship Program. This post is for informatics-based roles. There are separate posts for other roles. Our program is designed to expose students from community colleges to STEM research and development career paths. The goal of the program is to train entry-level candidates with skills that will enable them pursue a career in drug discovery and development. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. The Opportunity As an intern, you will perform various tasks under the guidance and mentorship of your manager. You will be expected to attend meetings, read independently on relevant topics, follow a training schedule set by your manager, and perform tasks independently as appropriate. You will also be expected to summarize the purpose of your work and any findings, and you will present future recommendations in the form of an oral and poster presentation. Program Highlights

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position in California is $24.00- $29.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
