About the Role:

The Program Coordinator BH Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing behavioral health programs within a healthcare services setting. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation, coordination, and evaluation of behavioral health initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service delivery. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, administrative staff, and external partners, to align program goals with organizational objectives. The Program Coordinator BH Lead will also monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices, ensuring programs meet quality standards and funding criteria. Ultimately, this position drives continuous improvement efforts and supports the integration of behavioral health services within the broader healthcare framework.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Combination of work and education may be substituted.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating behavioral health or healthcare programs.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health services, healthcare regulations, and program management principles.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to program outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert for Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and Jiva related program coordinator process/procedures
  • Review and reconcile error reports
  • Support training and development of new employees through Mentoring Program
  • Participate in development of process efficiencies and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Under direction of a supervisor, monitor daily workflow and provide feedback regarding challenges to meeting contract deliverables
  • Assist to coordinate and conduct case audits
