Job Description

Bring designs to life: Work directly from engineering drawings and documented work instructions to produce high-quality parts.

Set up for success: Perform standard machine set-ups, maintain optimal operating conditions, and flag any unusual settings to your supervisor or technical lead.

Keep quality at its peak: Monitor productivity and part quality, making minor machine or tooling adjustments to stay within required specifications.

Inspect with precision: Use measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and leak-check equipment to ensure every part meets exact standards. Perform visual or mechanical checks for weld integrity and dimensional accuracy.

Champion consistency: Apply quantitative methods-including Statistical Process Control (SPC)-to ensure quality requirements are consistently met.

Grow your expertise: Obtain and maintain necessary Operator Authorizations, and support your teammates by assisting or training others when needed.

Comfortable working with everyday workplace technology: Perform basic computer tasks such as labor transactions and other required system functions.

Keep us running smoothly: Manage department tools and supplies, inspect returned tooling, and determine whether refurbishment or replacement is needed.
