Job Description

FIS powers the technology behind $10 trillion in daily transactions - and we're building a social media presence that matches that scale. We're hiring a Social Media Specialist who can think like a content strategist and execute like a platform-native creator.

This role reports to our Social Media Director, but make no mistake - this isn't an entry-level seat. You'll need to quickly understand a complex, global financial technology business and translate it into social media content that's clear, compelling, and built to perform. You should be equally comfortable writing a nuanced LinkedIn post about payment infrastructure as you are producing a scroll-stopping Instagram Reel - and you should know exactly why each one works on its respective platform.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Produce high-quality social media content daily across LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook - original copy, design, short-form video, and multimedia. You understand that every platform has its own language, and you create natively for each.
  • Think like a strategist - you don't just make content, you know why you're making it. You connect every post to a broader content strategy, understand what our audience cares about, and build editorial calendars that serve both brand goals and platform algorithms.
  • Master the complexity - FIS operates across payments, banking, capital markets, and enterprise technology. You'll develop a working fluency in these domains fast, because you can't create credible B2B content without understanding the business behind it.
  • Optimize relentlessly - track social media analytics and engagement metrics, identify what's driving performance, and use those insights to continuously raise the creative bar. You treat data as a creative input, not a report you file.
  • Own community and conversation - monitor, respond to, and spark engagement across all FIS social channels. Represent the brand with intelligence and personality in comments, threads, and real-time moments.

What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media content creation with a portfolio that demonstrates creative range and platform fluency - strong copy, strong visual, strong video, all native to channel.
  • The intellectual curiosity to learn a complex B2B business quickly and the editorial judgment to distill it into content that resonates with sophisticated audiences.
  • Sharp copywriting and visual storytelling instincts - you know the difference between content that fills a calendar and content that earns attention.
  • Command of social media management platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics. You don't just pull the numbers - you know what they mean and what to do next.
  • A bias toward action - you manage multiple workstreams, produce at speed, and bring ideas to the table without being asked.

  • Experience creating social media content for B2B, Fortune 500, or financial services brands
  • Video production and editing skills
  • Fluency with AI-powered content creation tools
  • Working knowledge of financial services, payments, fintech, or banking

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $119,560.00 - $200,840.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
