The mission of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration is to guide and develop the next generation of pharmacists in the practice of patient-centered, population-based pharmaceutical care in a multitude of settings. Qualifications






Minimum Education and Experience
Applicants must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and must have completed at least two years of residency training or equivalent experience. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey. Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties ( BCPS), or other relevant board certification, is expected within two years of hire.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
