We are seeking an experienced MR Technologist to join our Radiation Oncology team. While MR Technologist positions are traditionally based in Radiology, this role is uniquely housed in Radiation Oncology to support advanced MRguided radiation therapy planning. This is a rare opportunity to work with breakthrough technology and directly impact cuttingedge cancer care, and we strongly encourage qualified MR Techs to apply.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Magnetic Resonance Tech performs is responsible for:

  • Magnetic resonance imaging studies using a magnetic resonance imaging device, which includes preparing patients, positioning, setting imaging parameters, and performing computer processing and displaying images.
  • Assists in developing protocol for patient studies.
  • Performs quality control procedures on equipment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
  • Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • (BCLS). Two (2) years of experience in Radiography is recommended but not mandatory.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • The American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT),
    or
  • The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, & American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS),
    or
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) with the advanced ARRT registry in MRI or registry eligible.

Note:
If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of the date of hire.
Failure to obtain registry within the designated timeframe will result in termination of the Magnetic Resonance Technologist position.
