ChristianaCare Primary Care at Hockessin is located in Hockessin, Delaware. ChristianaCare Primary Care at Hockessin provides comprehensive primary medical care for adults and children, including vaccinations, physical examinations, and minor medical procedures.

Work Schedule:

• Monday: 7am - 5pm

• Tuesday & Thursday: 8am - 6pm *one last night shift required per week.

• Wednesday: 8am - 5pm

• Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm

• No weekends no holidays

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant I greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. They manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
