What to Expect
We are seeking a dedicated Direct Install Hotline Supervisor to lead Tesla's Support Team. This role focuses on managing an exceptional team of technical specialists to assist installers over the phone, troubleshooting issues related to Tesla's direct installation processes for energy and home charging products. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with installation management, product engineers, and design leadership to ensure seamless installation experiences and resolve complex inquiries efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Lead a technical team in a fast paced and often changing business
- Build relationships across business units to anticipate and prepare your team for changes in process and product
- Establish yourself as a subject mater expert on Tesla Energy Products (hardware and software) and process related to installation and system performance
- Document interactions and technical solutions in the support database for future reference
- Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Tesla products, installation guidelines, and support tools
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring issues and suggesting solutions
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in customer support or technical troubleshooting roles
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation processes
- Familiarity with CRM software and technical documentation tools
- Willingness to support your team and the business across multiple shifts/days as needed
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a formal role or as a peer-mentor
- Commitment to Tesla's mission and motivation to adapt, grow and overcome challenges

Expected Compensation
- Supervisor Technical Support - $72,000 - $108,000/annual salary
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
