Position Summary:
The Digital Construction Professional will work with:


  • The sales team to educate, train, support, and attend key meetings with construction companies who specialize in civil engineering projects and specialty contractors in marine, paving, landfills, and other earthmoving projects.
  • Construction companies to demonstrate, educate, consult, and train on all facets of the 3D Construction Process.
  • Trimble Product Managers beta testing new software and hardware releases.
  • Assist or lead product training/demonstrations, project consulting, and will assist the sales team to close new sales opportunities, conduct post-sale training and support.
  • The Digital Construction Professional (DCP) will be an expert on the 3D construction process with full understanding of the data-driven workflow for 3D construction


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Consulting and product demonstrations on key features and functions available using Trimble/Teledyne or other OEM software and hardware in the data-driven workflow of the 3D construction process.
  • Demonstrate how to estimate/verify quantities.
  • Educate customers on the creation of "Construct-able" models and how to review engineering models for construction errors/challenges in the design.
  • Use construction survey/site positioning systems and software.
  • Able to address other CAD type software packages and explain key differences in applications, features and functions.
  • Demonstrate the applications for various project types to include landfills, infrastructure, commercial, and recreational.
  • Demonstrate Trimble's data management, transfer and project monitoring software and operating systems.
  • Create content to support customer training and demonstrations as well as to be used in broader customer self-serve platforms.
  • Sales responsibilities for drone hardware/software package sales, extended warranty programs, TBC, etc.


This position can be held 100% remotely in any of the locations within our FABICK - SITECH and Teledyne territory.


This position will require up to 75% travel (will vary week to week).
Requirements
Critical Competencies and Skills:


  • Expert on the data-driven workflow for 3D construction.
  • Sound knowledge of construction surveying/design; fluent in Trimble Business Center, Works Manager, Works OS, Siteworks, Earthworks, TMC, Carris, Propeller, and others.
  • Ability to engage end users to quickly identify training needs and business opportunities.
  • Ability to demonstrate and clearly articulate value propositions at the individual buyer levels and at the channel partner level.
  • Proven/consistent customer satisfaction target track record.
  • Ability to build customer trust and customer loyalty.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively articulate how technology will solve key business problems and to what degree.


Desired Background:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Survey, Construction Management or related field.



  • Minimum 5 years construction experience, focused on Civil Projects.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Data Driven Manager: Experienced using Trimble Business Center.
  • Drone Pilots License preferred.
