We manufacture and distribute a range of medical device products used in the diagnosis of human disorders of sensory system and neural pathways.

Job Overview

Creates software components and applications for medical products. Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or modification of computer programs. May design and develop imaging algorithms for software components, interactive and automated applications and/or test programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

At a senior level, this role brings extensive experience and deep expertise in a specific function or area of specialty. The individual is expected to work cross-functionally to resolve complex challenges, anticipate system-wide issues, and develop strategic, long-term solutions. They translate technical concepts and their implications for non-technical audiences and constructively address feedback or objections.

The role provides technical leadership to large groups or complex, cross-functional project teams. In addition to managing their own workload, the individual supports team planning efforts to ensure deadlines and goals are met.

  • Analyze software requirements and translate them into detailed design specifications that are ready for implementation, taking scalability, testability, and maintainability into account
  • Understand Non-functional requirements and how to achieve them.
  • Implement assigned software tasks meeting established requirements and specifications and following robust design and best practices.
  • Work with technical lead or Software Manager in creation of task estimations to support project planning.
  • Create and update design documentation throughout lifecycle and review designs of others
  • Perform code reviews, supporting the Quality Management System and ensuring high code quality
  • Provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Create and execute unit test plans



Qualification Requirements

Education and/or Experience

B.E/B.Tech/MCA from four-year college or university; or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • One or more of the following or minimum 5 years' experience in Scrum, preferably
  • Certified Scrum Developer


Other Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum 8 years' experience (not counting school) in developing software that is a medical device (or part of a medical device), working in all aspects of a software lifecycle.
  • Full stack developer with both frontend and backend experience needed.
  • Vast experience in working with standards like IEC62304 (medical device software), ISO13485 (risk) etc.
  • Quality mindset is essential as well as use of best practices
  • Excellent proficiency in implementing software Architecture using chosen design patterns
  • Ability to deliver high quality on time
  • Good understanding of interfaces between FW and SW (USB, WiFi or BT connected)
  • Excellent understanding of software security (e.g. secure coding) and patient data protection
  • Good communication and collaboration skills in a highly international environment
  • Good understanding of both Agile and waterfall SDLCs
  • High proficiency with C#, .NET, WPF, MAUI, REST API, MVC
  • High proficiency with debuggers and profilers
  • High proficiency using GitHub or similar
  • Ability to understand and maintain PowerShell scripts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features


Nice to have

  • Experience with Test Automation tools for automated regression testing
  • Proficiency with web technologies - e.g. web-based API
  • Proficiency with mobile technologies - development of Apps.
  • Proficiency with use of SQL database schema design and query optimization
  • Exposure to Cloud environments - Azure
  • Knowledge about audiology is desired and preferred
