Job Summary

Responsible for the development and management of short-, mid-, and long-term planning models. Collaborates and communicates with cross functional teams for transparency, engagement, and support. Promotes continuous improvement and service to the value stream.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops production and inventory plan by line resource.

  • Maintains master data that supports the planning function.

  • Adjusts plans for any change of business or promotional activities.

  • Investigates and resolves issues impacting goals and accountabilities.

  • Prepares daily and weekly files to review and facilitates calls between teams.

  • Plans and monitors material shipments between facilities to meet distribution needs.

  • Evaluates the optimum inventory profile to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements.

  • Provides super-user services on the process and technology

  • Participates and supports system implementations, changes, and improvements.

Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or Operations

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of sales, marketing, or operations planning processes

  • Understanding of and experience with one or more major forecasting/planning software

  • Statistical knowledge and ability to evaluate, interpret, and draw conclusions from data

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to collaborate at all levels

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Microsoft Suites skills with ability to generate and evaluate reports

  • Project management, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements

  • Able to coach, mentor, and lead teams and team members

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in related field

  • Experience with SAP, CAT2, JDA, Blue Yonder

  • LEAN certification

  • APICS certification

  • Six Sigma certification

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements

  • Work will be performed in various conditions including a climate-controlled office environment(s) and in a manufacturing plant environment with varying conditions, such as cold, wet, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.

  • The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.

  • Occasional travel may be required.
