Overall Summary



This position is responsible for sustainment and growth of Blade's digital footprint. Additionally, this role will be expected to maintain current digital content, create new digital media, stay abreast of digital marketing trends, and advise leadership on digital growth potentials. This is a part-time position and will require about 20 hours per week.




Primary and Essential Duties and Responsibilities




  • Maintains and updates Blade websites
  • Collaborates with functional departments to validate current capabilities are reflected properly digitally
  • Manages digital marketing campaigns
  • Creates new content to broaden Blade's digital footprint
  • Assists Marketing team for events, tradeshows, and customer digital exposure
  • Monitors and briefs leadership on identified competitors' digital presence
  • Captures workspace activities and assists in recognizing special events digitally
  • Conducts research and cost analysis on digital marketing opportunities
  • Organizes and makes available archived and new digital library
  • Assists in graphic / video production related to submission: RFI, proposals, white papers
  • Assists sales team with digital marketing material
  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

      Years of Experience





      1 - 3 years of applicable work experience in digital media




      Level of Education



      High school degree required. Associate's degree or higher preferred or a combination of work experience and education.

      Experience / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities




      • Must be able to speak, read and understand English
      • Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination methods and techniques. Variety of alternative ways to present written, oral, audio and visual information
      • Knowledge of website content management systems
      • Must be proficient with MAC, PC and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
      • Ability to work a varied schedule, willing to work overtime when necessary
      • Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)




      Work Environment

      • Work is accomplished in a typical office environment with adequate environmental (heating/cooling) control. The noise level in the work environment is moderate due to noises associated with computer equipment and environmental control systems.
      • This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets
      • Access to operations and manufacturing areas may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, oils, and fluctuations in temperature

      • Performs all work in accordance with safety and workmanship and good housekeeping specifications
      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee alternates between sitting and standing/walking for long periods of time
      • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 lbs.
      • Ability to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules
